(주)교유당 홈페이지에 오신 것을 환영합니다.

2014년 3월 문학동네출판그룹 임프린트 ‘교유서가’로 출발, 2019년 6월 서로 사귀어 놀며 오가는 집이라는 뜻을 지닌 ‘교유당(交遊堂)’으로 법인 전환하였습니다.
㈜교유당은 4개의 출판브랜드로, 교유서가, 싱긋, 아템포, 꼬마싱긋이 있습니다.
‘지적 여정을 함께한다’ 교유서가는 문·사·철 분야를 주력으로, 조선의 학자 허균의 호(교산)와 정약용의 당호(여유당)를 한자씩 집자하여 만든 이름으로, 길위의 역사학자 故 이이화 선생께서 지어주셨습니다. 허균과 정약용처럼 본질에 대한 탐구를 바탕으로 혁신적인 사고를 만들고 실천에 이르게 하는 출판 본연의 뜻을 이어가고자 합니다.
‘책 한 권의 행복’ 싱긋은 가볍게 미소짓는 순우리말처럼 삶의 다양한 결을 담으며 보다 나은 내일을 꿈꾸는 책을 만듭니다. 삶의 과정과 목표를 행복으로 연결짓는 에세이, 종교, 스포츠, 실용 등의 책을 만들어나갈 것입니다.
‘미소가 자라는 책, 아이들의 웃음이 시작되는 곳’ 꼬마싱긋은 아이들의 해맑은 웃음과 기린처럼 쑥쑥 자라는 마음의 성장을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 그림책과 육아서를 꾸준하게 펴나갈 것입니다.
‘생각을 넓히는 인사이트 동반자’ 아템포는 ‘본래의 빠르기로 돌아가라’는 뜻의 음악용어입니다. 직장 생활을 포함해 ‘어떻게 살 것인가’를 다루는 자기계발서나 경제경영, 실용교양서를 펴내고 있습니다.

It started as the imprint of Munhakdongne Publishing Group, ‘Kyoyuseoga’ in March 2014, and in June 2019, it was incorporated as ‘Kyoyudang (交遊堂)’, which means a house where people come and go to hang out and socialize. Kyoyuseoga Co., Ltd. has four publishing brands: Kyoyuseoga, Singgut, Atempo, and Kkomasinggut. Kyoyuseoga, which ‘accompanies intellectual journeys’, focuses on literature, history, and philosophy, and was named by the late historian Lee I-hwa, who created the name by collecting one character each from the pen name (Gyosan) of Joseon scholar Heo Gyun and the pen name (Yeoyudang) of Jeong Yak-yong. Like Heo Gyun and Jeong Yak-yong, we aim to continue the original meaning of publishing, which is to create innovative thoughts based on the exploration of the essence and lead them to practice. ‘Happiness in a Book’ Singgut creates books that dream of a better tomorrow, containing various aspects of life, like the pure Korean word for a light smile. We will create essays, religion, sports, and practical books that connect the process and goals of life to happiness. ‘A book where smiles grow, where children’s laughter begins’ Little Singgut aims for children’s bright laughter and the growth of their hearts that grow like giraffes. We will steadily publish picture books and parenting books. ‘A tempo, an insight companion that broadens your thoughts’ is a musical term that means ‘go back to your original speed’. We publish self-development books, economics and management books, and practical culture books that cover ‘how to live’, including work life.
